so decades ago people were predicting all kinds of crazy technologies for the millenium, some of which have come true such as mobile phones, personal computers, etc.. however many have turned out to be really inaccurate e.g. flying cars, robotic household assistants,

so judging by the rate technology has been developing for the last 10, 20, even 30 yrs, what do you think technology will be like in another 10, 20, 30 yrs time? bare in mind the likes of wi-fi wasn't really a commonly known concept until the very late 90s/early 00s, the 3G mobile network has only existed since around 2001, mobile phones only became must-have possessions around the same time (for most of us), cars haven't received any drastic revolutionary changes for some decades now, etc.

I'm hoping for phones without sides in the near future... just plain screen on all the surface

I think obviously internet is going to be much faster with LTE allowing you to get 100MBPS download, Wi-Fi could get us so much more.

Imagine in 10 years being able to download a full 1080 HD 2 hour long movie, in the amount of time it took to download your favorite song on mediafire.

Considering how much better phones, laptops, TVs, etc have gotten since 2000 then I can't wait to see what will be in store in 2020. Just thinking that I will be alive in 2080 makes me so excited.
