No Japanese single chart is really relevant anymore. They're all just parts of the whole.

They need to create a chart that combines, recochoku, iTunes, Oricon, etc. all into one.

I know, and surely the RIAJ could do it, they certify digital downloads and Oricon sales are some of the most transparent in the world. They could even skip Oricon and the AKB48 mania, just give us the weekly digital sales. The world is desperate

Japan's digital market has to be pretty big based off how well Flavor Of Life did and that was 5 years ago.
