What's your hope for ARTPOP performance in term of sales and charting in US?

I want:

1) At least 2 number one song (from one album)
2) At least 1 single sells more than 4mil (5 singles from BTW all below 4mil)
3) At least 2 singles have more than 100AI radio support (nowadays seems like moderate popular artist can easily hit this?)
4) To break her highest AI radio
5) At least 4 songs enter top 10 in hot 100 (tie with BTW is more than enough)
6) At least 2 songs spend more than 10 weeks in hot 100 (seems easy but only BTW did it? Not sure about TEOG, isn't 9 weeks?)

Can the machines predict / trace the lyrics? It's playing part of the role.

Not particularly. Only if he brings his A game; I want something to rival "Heavy Metal Lover" and "Dance In the Dark".

I haven't seen a bad look form her since before Tokyo.

1.) #1 lead single that sells 5 million or better.
2.) At least two other top 5 hits, selling 3 to 5 million.
3.) 5+ top ten hits; it would be her first era to do so but she could manage.
4.) Two songs with 100+ AI on Nielsen, one of which should outpeak her record.

Anyone else wondering whether she's going to play with brunette vs. blonde during ARTPOP?

Not in a light vs. dark way, but in a 'playing the blonde icon' way?

It'd be killer if she sticks to brunette though. Just imagine her current style on stage, in videos and in shoots.

From what TikiMiss said a few days ago, it sounded like the lead single will be a random risky (?) stuff that could be 'meh' but will take advantage of being a lead single (think BTW). While the safer one will follow next (think Judas but without flopping).

I hope not. She needs to open the era with a huge, radio friendly hit whose success isn't frontloaded. She should do riskier singles once she has the public's attention again.

I agree. We NEED an era like TFM again. And the reason that was so successful is because it started with such a massive song (and video, this is critical as well) that everyone loved.

Then again, somedays I just don't care about whether these things are successful - I just want the music to be awesome!
