Depending on how good the first few singles are, she can definitely outsell her.

Yes, it will. Diamonds is flopping, which means the album will most likely flop worse than TTT or at least do worse than LOUD.

It tells you a lot that Rihanna's only 5m ahead even though she's put out twice as many albums.

Yes, it has the potential to overtake Rihanna. Remember, just because Born This Way wasn't as big as her previous era doesn't mean she's incapable of pulling multiple huge hits from an album again.

People should only look at Rihanna for proof of that. Rated R underwhelmed in terms of chart toppers (only "Rude Boy" was a massive hit) and yet she has come back stronger than ever since that album. And it's not just her. Mariah Carey, Madonna, and Britney Spears have all had less-than-stellar eras and have come back with huge sales/singles.

Rih will remain unbothered for the time being. She is at least 10+ million ahead atm, and that's only going to grow in the com ing months. Then after Gaga releases, Rih will have a new album out in the months that follow.
