If we are going by label then that means Teenage Dream has sold 5.5 mil as of March 2012. It has to be over 6 mill now

I did mean just 2011, don't worry. I'm still surprised, Rihanna's a huge popstar and 2011 "wasn't a good year" for Gaga.
(if not having a good year is 6.8 million albums sold, two hit singles and a sold out world tour, then I love it).

They might only report the sales from this year, but who knows. After acquiring EMI, maybe both sides would like to make things clear regarding their best selling acts.

Do you see it saying just "The Fame"? Do you see parentheses? No. 1.2 million copies of The Fame were not on this list.
