They're morons. Most artists get their hands on as many endorsements as possible. That's where money+promo is at.

And they need to stop pretending she didn't work her ass off promoting Born To Die all around the world. She writes her own songs, her image and stage name is her idea and she really loves and cares about her music and music in general.
