Duh Madonna. Rihanna never reinvents herself, changing your hair color doesn't count as a reinvention. Christina changes her style of music and dress a lot, but obviously not as good as Madonna.

How does rihanna reinvent herself? I mean musically she's not involved so he follows trends and physically she just gets tattoos and changes her hair. Her personality stays the same.
Mtv already made this Top 10, and they didn't lie about the #1. They lied about everyone else though (specially Gaga's position). But they still didn't have BTW I think, so I give them that.
Xtina definitely can be considered someone who reinvents herself... she went from virginal stick girl to nymphomaniac/depressed to pin-up girl from the 20s to robot to colourful, happy man killer [era yet to be defined]. Need I say more?
I'm going to honestly say this is the first day I have ever even heard of the idea that Rihanna "reinvents" herself. Like... aging,singing about new experiences, changing your sound to stay current doesn't count as reinvention, does it? A girl like me/music of the sun isn't really different from each other... nor is GGGB/Loud/TTT... Rated R is probably the most deviated album she's ever made (and best, imo). Really, her discography goes from less explicit to more explicit (pon de replay to suck my cockiness lick my persuasion)... and that's normal for someone getting older/evolving and adapting to new circumstances in her life. Sure, the sound gets different but it's not extreme at all. If I put all the songs in one playlist, I'd have mild difficulty finding which era each song came from (except Rated R). Reinvention isn't really super necessary for a great career.. so don't sweat it Riri fans!
