Its a good and bad thing. But having a plethora of memorable WW hits is always good for artists. Because in 20 years ppl can always associate her with her big hits. Its easier to remember songs than albums.
So? I would rather have my singles and songs paid dust and have high album sales.
All females who released albums in the same year with older careers than J.Lo and managed to surpass her in album sales in the same time frame. 3 million in 2005 is nothing to brag about.
So? Both Mariah and Madonna's albums in 2005 sold more than Britney's post-2004 albums and all of Beyonce's albums.

At the end of the day, I'd rather have an incredibly succesful album like 21, rather than an incredibly succesful single like I Gotta Feeling.

This thread isn't about high album sales or raw numbers, it's about chart ratios. Being a more successful singles artist then album artist doesn't mean you also aren't successful with albums and vice versa
