Watching The Challenge - can someone explain to me why people hate Trey? Was he likeable on his season of RW?

He had a girl at home and Laura at the house and he strung both of them along and didn't think he was doing anything wrong

The black guy was cute.. black girl gave me BGC.. other than that everyone else seemed uninteresting. Dead seasons lately. Hollywood was a good season if I remember right.
