My commentary on my Top 14 choices:
1. Your references made me keep you.
2. Your entry was a bit repetitive, but your thread participation and enthusiasm will save you from elimination this round.
3. I'm glad you were open and direct about your ATRL past -- I'm eager to see what you bring to the competition
and the haters seethe.
4. Self deprecation done well, you ultimately won me over.
5. Your qualifications are unique in this batch of contestants.
6. Doing too much, but I don't think you should go this early.
7. Very disappointed in this entry, but I know you're an amazing member from past experiences and I want you in this. Saving you this time, but I won't again if you continue to fall short.
8. Loved this entry. Humor of it, the receipts, the confidence, etc were all great.
9. Kinda unnecessarily long, but I appreciate the enthusiasm and enjoyed your details.
10. Aaaaah. What happened? Basically the same commentary from #7 applies to you.
11. Very cute, definitely stood out. Good to see some creativity.
12. I think you'll go far in this and be a dark horse.
13. You're a fun guy, and that shows.
14. You're one of the few people who submitted a "choose me because I'm true to myself" type post that actually made it work and be interesting.
Just a general note: don't be boring. Or obvious. Or typical. Or basic. A lot of the entries said the same thing in different words.
Thread participation and enthusiasm are important to me. I put a few mildly disappointing people in my Top 14 because I know they can do better.
Good job, y'all. There were 18 members I really wanted to save, it was hard eliminating some people.
