To be honest, she said this when the Young Money vs. Hot 97 feud at that Summer Jam thing was happening, so I think she decided to say that now, so if she ever gets big and releases her "Starships", that she can go back and say "Well, in summer 2012, I already said that I'm not a rapper, I was planning to do this all along".
