Can we just acknowledge that she is to thank for one of the best pop songs of the 21st century? This song is absolutely amazing to this day. STILL sounds fresh today, still holds that level of perfection it had at its success peak.
I will always remember Ms Furtado from this and not the Spirit Deflatable.
Right though? It absolutely boggles my mind that Loose could slay lives with 10+ million copies sold and such definitive/memorable hits and this new era won't even scan 100,000 worldwide (which, for the record, is ONE PERCENT of Loose's sales) and will be laughed at for its messy singles.
Say what you want about Tim not having any big hits recently, but if I remember right he hadn't had any big hits for awhile before working on Loose, that album sparked FSLS and everything else. I think they messed up not having him work on the album, Tim is always super inspired when working with awesome artists like Justin or Nelly I feel like darkchild makes good music but he makes songs that if they don't work for so and so they can go to another artist instead of catering the sound to who he's working with. I feel like that's one of the big reasons it didn't do well

She has a lot of iconic and beautiful songs.... Try, Powerless, I'm Like a Bird, Spirit Indestructible 
She had Ray Kay, a hit director for most pop stars. He ain't cheap.
