When Durban’s Khaya Mthethwa and Melissa Allison from Port Elizabeth face off for the title of South Africa’s next Idol tonight at the recording of the Idols Top 2 Spectacular, they will have an added incentive to perform at their very best: international superstar Ciara is a special celebrity guest judge tonight!
The gorgeous Ciara is a singer, songwriter, dancer, actress and model who boasts eight “Billboard Hot 100” Top 10 singles, three BET Awards, three MTV Video Music Awards, three MOBO Awards and one Grammy Award.
Ciara has sold over seven million albums worldwide to date and is in South Africa in support of her forthcoming fifth studio album, “One Woman Army”.
The Idols Season 8 Top 2 Spectacular is recorded at the Mosaïek Teatro in Fairland, Johannesburg, on Friday, 28 September, and airs on M-Net and M-Net HD and Mzansi Magic on Sunday, 30 September, at 17:30.
