The world is not really gonna go "GAYS DESERVE TO LIVE HERE, AND ARE JUST LIKE US" (even though they should) just because Beyonce or Rihanna said so in an interview.

Considering most Pop Celebrities have fans that are LGBT, or accept it, it'd make no point supporting it as the only people who'd listen are their fans who already are not against it.

Besides, P!NK, Madonna, and many others as relevant or more have supported it and it hasn't made a big difference, I don't think the rest would change it, sadly.

But the thing is, sexuality is not like religion. Not nearly all religious people are against LGBT rights, and those who are on the fence about it can be swayed toward a positive viewpoint if major celebrities and notable individuals support the LGBT community. Not a ton of people are going to drop what they're doing and go wave rainbow flags at Congress just because a pop star said to support the LGBT community, but people will start thinking more about it and may find themselves supporting the community.

I agree, but I think most people these days are close-minded and can't think outside of ignorance. It might change some people's, but it won't have great effect. Madonna, Pink, and plenty others have supported and it's obviously not made substancial progress for LGBT.

Rihanna and Beyonce, maybe. But that doesn't mean they don't care about their gay fans. Maybe they just don't like to place high emphasis on one part of their bases.

Beyonce doesn't EXPLOIT gay people but she openly supports their decisions! Her and JayZ recently said they deserve the right to be married. She has acknowledged her support several times.
