I don't care WHAT the reviews say, I can't wait to read this.
And I'm one of the few people that don't want more HP. The series is perfect as it is, I don't want anything to tarnish it. Maybe one prequel novel but that's it.
Why was I warned for this? it's true! Harry Potter is fun but lacks of literary value. It's like the LMFAO of literature.

Compared to most modern childrens literature like Divergent or The Hunger Games, HP is Shakespeare
The woman's writing was never anything great and mediocre to bad at best, but I could always somewhat excuse it because Harry Potter was a series aimed at youth and the world had some charm to it.
This however feels more like a childrens book writer desperately trying to be adult and intense and just fails doesn't come across compelling or with actual depth.
Anyone calling the HP novels are trash must not be able to read.
The themes, the structure, the vocabulary, the plot, the subtle signs of how it all ends, tying everything together. That's one of the series I've enjoyed from start to finish and all critics agree....
They even have college courses dedicated to the philosophies and politics of Harry potter.
I'm not surprised it was trashed because she's coming off such a successful book series so people will be disappointed comparing it to that. I might buy the book, I'm kind of interested in reading it.
As for people saying she's a terrible writer or that the HP series are terrible books, I'd like to see you guys come up with such complex storylines for 7 books. The kind of planning that it takes for it all to make sense and fit together requires a great mind.
