When Can Fans Expect The New Album?
“I want to go sooner, but I guess it wouldn’t be ready until around January, somewhere around there. I wanted to put another single out, a ballad. I love it, but I’m still writing, I’m still working. So, you never know what it’s going to end up being,” Mariah tells us.
No label wants to release their albums in a January, definitely not a Mariah Carey album, they don't wanna miss out on those extra holiday sales. I doubt it will actually come out in January.
Putting out a ballad girl...haven't you learned from your past two eras.
It really depends on what type of "ballad" she means.
If it's a STRONG ballad, like what we saw with We Belong Together, and all her ballad hits in the 90s, such as One Sweet Day, it will succeed.
But the ballads she's recently released has been shocking.
I want To Know What Love Is was one of her worst ballads, and covers of all time.
But I hope she releases it in February. March would be even better, to be honest.
