Hilary tweeted a bunch of times today!

Does anyone else get the feeling that music is like her dead last resort? Every time something promising happens acting-wise, music gets shelved again.

I know Twitter isn't necessarily an indication but she hasn't tweeted a single thing about music since before her development deal was announced.

Aww don't be bummed Luis! If it helps you feel better, remember Hilary's loves to work in secret and surprise us later these days. She's also never given a promise she can't keep. It's arguable she's created false hope at times, but she's never broken a specific promise to fans. She promised we'd hear new music by the end of the year so we will!

I don't get the feeling music is a dead last resort. There's nothing to "resort" to really... she does it cause she loves it! She's balancing acting AND singing just like back in the day... except now there's a baby too so things will run a bit differently.

I agree Andrea, I think she is just figuring out how to balance everything together. I bet she is looking at a lot of scripts and really wondering what the show is going to be like, this is a HUGE deal for her and I know she wants it to be perfect because this is her BIG return to television. With music I think she is just going to test the waters with a promo single, so she really has nothing to tweet about dealing with that topic.

But don't you see? This is the same cycle as with the NBC development deal. The same. And she didn't have a baby back then. She mentioned how excited she was about going back into the studio and recording songs in December and by January had already pushed music back to the back burner for a deal that went nowhere and that stupid B&C movie that never shot.

I'm sick of the false hope. Absolutely sick of it.

I don't really have any preference of what she does as long as it's something. Music, movies, tv, appearances, magazines, merchandise, books, whatever.

The benefit of being a stan is that I'll like anything she does

It just hit me like a ton of bricks that I've been stanning for a woman mostly based on her looks. Yeah I love her as a person, but candids are all we get from her and have gotten from her for the last few years.

Her projects have all been short and not an ounce as memorable as her last studio album.

I'm just tired of this - will she? Won't she mention music or heck any decent project.

Ugh kinda going through a possibly major transition in my life right now and I just had to vent on my feelings from my fav. After taking a breath, I realize that I may have exaggerated a bit. Only her music can get me through this, and while we still have her old songs, I was hoping for something new. Excuse me.

That's great! I was taking a break from ATRL and then I came back and just went on certain threads. This thread was always on my mind. I just wouldn't go on it for some reason.

There's a big difference though to also remember, Hilary has ACTUALLY been recording and working on music. She's ACTED on her words which is very different from the last time so that is a good sign! The B & C thing was totally ******** and out of her control but probs for the best anyway. With the development deal well, that's a lot of behind the scene things that we wont see unless there's a show. Unfortunately with NBC, there wasnt. But we have much better reason to believe there will be with this new Fox deal so things are definitely a step up all around from the "last time" and that's good.

Hey that's fair dude. We've all been really invested in Hilary since we were children basically. We hold her close to us and she's gonna make us feel both happy and sad. One thing to help maybe is realize Hilary is in a transition in her life too. She has been for a while.. since her "break" started. She was free from being a child Disney star and had to make the decision to focus on herself, grow up, and work on her personal life. During that time shes' become a wife and mom. Two big transitions again and she has to sort herself out. She's taken time to focus on her personal life and openly explained that, but I think it's kinda cool that despite that she still did indie films, some tv, dkny, her novels etc. A good sign about the work ethic of our fave. She just can't help but TO work sometimes. She's going through stuff and so are we... maybe it's stuff we can relate on with her new music. We'll be patient. Stuff IS happening. More stuff than anything the past few years. That gives me hope personally. Hope it does for you too! Also if there's anyone to stan off of mostly because of their looks, Hilary is the one. Very good judgement on your part

Tim (Ultimate Hilary on Twitter) tweeted that we have a surprise for Hilary and now many of the fans think we have some new music or music related news, I cannot with this fanbase.

Seriously. Tim was pretty clear with his tweet, I'm not sure how confusion could occur.

When dealing with people in the masses, you'd be surprised how all intelligence goes out the window. Especially on the internet.

Every year I always refuse to not participate in these Hilary bday projects then regret it afterwards. Sigh.
