Do music videos assist chart postions much in the US?

sometimes.. most of the time it does, but it sometimes has failed!

It usually helps with digital sales which, in turn, could help it rise on the Hot 100

I want an epic video with a lot of drums and her running through the drum line while lipping. I think somebody already said this though. We might not get an epic one though.

At one point i was hoping she'd have a massive week and go to #1 this week however longevity probably is better for reminding Ke$ha is back. And yes it grew on me massively as well.

It was only released today as well. #96 already, with no banner or place on the front page.

Die Young only has some of it's elements and is waaaay better..

I'm really impressed with Ke$ha on iTunes. Having gone to bed last night watching Rihanna jump from #3xx to #7x, to #5x and so on, I thought I'd wake up, and come back from work to see Rihanna nearly, or even at, #1.

To see her still ahead is fantastic, especially after ATRL last night - I think I read "Die Young" and "Ke$ha" in the "Diamonds" thread more than that actual song's title.

And I'm glad to see it's climbing really well in New Zealand, Australia and Ireland. She's doing really well, and I couldn't be happier! She delivered a fantastic song and I'm glad people are not only reacting well (Eventually - I can't believe the amount of people coming back to say how much they like it after initially either being cold or luke-warm to it!) but showing her support through purchases.

Good post, so pleased she has not just been obliterated by Rihanna and actually held her own for the time being and it shows that even with the break the public are still for her.
