I just don't understand the love for Only Girl. Like, I can usually see why people would love a song even if I hate it but I cannot for the life of me grasp why Only Girl gets so much acclaim on this site. Is it not just an uninspired and disposable dance/pop song? Everything about it is just so unspectacular. Not to mention Rih was REACHING with those vocals on the chorus.
How is it still in this?

"Poker Face" and "Bad Romance" out before "Only Girl (In the World)"?
These are all brilliant songs that would have had a justified place in the top ten—even winning the whole rate. Instead they got beaten by the generic and atrocious. For shame.

Another perfect piece of pop excellence! The chorus is just absolutely sublime. Straight out brilliance. She absolutely nailed it with this single- and showed us all that she was a girl that was here for the long haul. It was with this song and this video that I stepped aboard a stan train that would only stop when a girl called Cher walked into my life.
