It's funny -- ATRL hates California Gurls for sounding like Tik Tok, but the general public loves it. ATRL hates Die Young because it sounds like other recent songs, but I don't think the GP will make the connection here either. Die Young won't flop, by any means.
Yes. This is very true. People on ATRL are a lot more critical of music. They will pick on any little thing to be honest. Negativity is just expected. The general public don't seem to be anywhere near as analytical of things. Just as long as she has radio support where listeners are liking what they hear, the song will succeed. It has everything going for it.
I heard a little bit of Diamonds and its already at 82 on US iTunes, but like everyone has said longevity is what we want.
The GP loves Die Young twitter loves it, YouTube comments they love it, it was already playing at my friends job yesterday. I've asked people's opinion and they love it. They said they love the feel good feeling it gives off.
Same thing happened to me earlier. Played Die Young out loud for my friend at ze cafe we go to then this people next to our table asked me who's song it was and the title.
I am actually not surprised with this since the gal is practically everywhere. She never stops promoting her stuff too while Ke$ha has been gone for like 2 years. Ofc people would much be aware of her new song compared to someone who has been on hibernation for years.
The song was just premiered on radio 2 hours ago.. please tell me how you see "no radio response".
What is it with you, and your annoying 30 posts?
The song is boring, goes nowhere, and not radio friendly. Russian Roulette had a strong radio response at first but dropped like Judas after a week or two. Zzzz
I expected more after the long wait for her music! But I do enjoy this song and will be looking forward to more music from here! But I just hope that its different and more of the typical Ke$ha that we have known to love <3
