I didn't follow Rihanna or any other celebrity closely back in '07, so I wouldn't know. But even recently, I've seen so many people claim that no one is interested in Rihanna as a person and are only interested in the latest disposable hit that they hear on the radio.

But now all of a sudden Rihanna's tabloid presence is overshadowing her music. It's just the backflip of opinions that amuses me.
