Yeah as the sales show...hundreds of thousands were. I really loved Overcome. Dumb shat on lives I was bopping to it today. And the power on Overcome....as the mediafire DL showed her power has increased still...I dunno if you're UK...but that song gave me chills live on tour. She will...I think RCA backed out with £ when Elephant didn't get support. If only she went with 1 single.

She did say the rest of the album was different to the lead single...and the album doesn't reflect that (well it does sort of). I highly doubt she made this album (if you get me). It all feels forced on her. She said it was done in August last year, yet single #2 was recorded in April 2012. I also want to HEAR her belts, like on Before The Rain, Daylight robbery is no fun when you can't feel THE VOICE.

No, that's why she's off to the US. Still signed to RCA. They cut the budget, so even though it flopped, it wasn't that expensive. It's a perfectly logical one She has a global deal, it's her management (now she left them) she needs to sort out (which I think she has but not announced yet). She will announce US plans in the 4th quarter...so Modest did ok with the lead single but the 2nd had no promo at all (it was the wrong song anyway).

Anyone think with some refining and the feature put back on, that Between the sheets could be a US pop and maybe rhythmic/urban hit as a 2nd single?

I think there's a big chance she could breakthrough to the U.S.

She has been making the contacts for a long time. She's known by black blogs, all she needs is to slay on promo, TV (she's awesome live so it works for her) and be good on itunes. I pray she does. Syco paid her potential dust. I think so too forthelove

TBH. Heartbreak On Hold was a total summer filler. Good album but it was really easy to get over with and forget.

This is exactly how I feel. The songs themselves are great. They just don't stand out enough that you'd want to keep listening over and over again.

Yeah. I only use the lead, BTs and DR. When i pretty much *****d out overcome. It's a quality issue. They needed more experimental and creative producers to fuse a bit of dance, r&b, soul and acoustic in there (her voice shines on them). After that Children in need gig...- expect that vocal on 3 singles next era (the first 3). She needs to prove why she deserves her place.
