i think her digital power is overrated .. RITD SLY and SFTTR did megasmash but not bcuz she was adele but bcuz the songs were actually masterpieces .. if say SLY was a boring ballad, the VMA perf woudnt have had that effect .. if RITD was boring it wouldn't have smashed in the first place..
sooo.. if skyfall song is bad, then it can underperform too .. her name itself doesnt have as big power as taylor yet imo to have that obvious hit!..

People want to hear more and they will hear more. And not to be rude or anything but your logic sort of doesnt make sense about the whole songs and Adele thing. They performed well because its Adele and her talent as a singer.
basically i dont think adele's name has that power yet.. and i may be completely wrong, but thats what i feel!
