We all know what happened with Stereogum and Lana (they were huge fans, then not so much after SNL), and the way Azealia dragged them on twitter for this.
But here's part 2. TODAY.
Quote:
And one key brand-new track is “Ride,” an absolutely gorgeous string-drenched ballad that Rick Rubin produced, one that moves LDR back to the power of “Video Games” and “Blue Jeans” while simultaneously pushing her into a grand Adele crossover-soul-pop zone. It’s really nice. There’s hope for this lady yet!
at all these 'reputable' two-faced music blogs. Whatever. The way she was treated after SNL was so ****ed up.
They're pathetic. They don't even care about music, they just care about what's "cool" or "authentic". Music is always a distant second or third with them. ****s.
They do make you sick, don't they?? Like has been said before in this thread, they couldn't care less about music, it's all about looking 'cool'. W***ers. And wtf is 'there's hope for this lady yet'?? Talk about the delusion. They tried to destroy her and she still ended up selling more worldwide than any other artist who released an album in 2012. She doesn't need them, she won and that's probably why they are now sucking up. T***ers.
When are people gonna learn that just cuz someone shades their fav doesnt mean that it isnt unwarrented.
Stereogum said that Lana's album was flat out bad. ALL the music blogs dragged her after SNL. There's a difference between 'warranted shade' and a flat out witch hunt, hunty.

Agreed. She was unfairly reviewed because of the SNL thing by many sources. The album in itself is actually quite great.
