But it's not like he's DeNiro or anything. I think he's a much more talented musician than actor.

He needs to stop dragging his fans on and just be honest about his lack of interest in music.

He's certainly not the best actor, but he's still get paid for these films whether they do/are good or not. I don't think it's fair to pass judgment and say he's not interested in music just because he's dedicating time on another obvious passion. Plus his roles have at least improved from the mess he was serving years ago to the Facebook film and the Clint Eastwood movie he's in.

I want to hear his new music

His music has always been fairly basic though. It's quite obvious his well of inspiration doesn't run very deep but that's what happens when you spend your childhood being groomed for superstardom instead of getting an education. He makes up for it though with charisma and good looks and his albums are fun to listen to.

Justin seems to feel as though he has to compete with the standards of releasing music today, when that is not simply the case. People just want another album from him.

it's ok JT, we don't want turd music every year. but if you mention something like, "thinking of going into the studio next summer". or: "i'm gonna sit on my john brown hind pot for a few more years etc". at the very least we'll know what's up & not bother you until you might actually release a song or whatever. it just sucks when artists leave you clueless/guessing! but at least he finally said something about his music. just not what we wanted to hear LOL.

btw, Lauryn Hill, Stacie Orrico, The Cardigans, and a few of my other faves pulling this same ish. i'm waiting for them to drop new music but thank God for all my other faves putting stuff out!!!

and no shade, but at this rate, i think Rihanna will release two more albums before JT releases his third.
