So this week, I began the new formula which now accounts for plays within the past 7 days. As you can see, it doesn't effect the chart a whole, but it does affect it some. For example, the two new top 10 entries from Imagine Dragons and No Doubt would be just behind the top 10 using the old formula. However, thanks to the formula, we see some huge moves on the chart. "Radioactive" jumps from #18 to #9 and P!nk's latest, "Try," takes top gain honors by moving from #26 to #14! Of course, some songs moved in the other direction as well. The biggest loss goes to "Good Time," dropping #7 to #18. It should also be noted that "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" is only the second song in history to return to #1 for a second time. The first time this occurrence happened was with Kelly Clarkson's "What Doesn't Kill You (Stronger)." Two songs did fall off the chart this week, both in their 13th weeks. We must say goodbye to Marianas Trench's "Desperate Measures" and Jason Mraz's "I Won't Give Up."
