I know I said "winning" but there's ALWAYS some kind of folk pop/indie pop/whateverbaroquewatchamacallit pop artist in there that no one hears of and the chances of them winning >>>>>> Gaga in general.Rehab, Use Sombody, and RITD were deserving of their wins anyway. And Gaga already lost to Kings of Leons in a few other categories which further proves my point.

I think they knew that with Adele, none of Gaga's "pop" records (BTW, TEOG) would stand a chance against RITD...so they decided to play the singer/songwriter card with Y&I. It's more of a conventional Grammy choice. They submitted Y&I alongside Judas knowing full well that they would never chose the latter over the former.

I imagine they hoped that the Grammys would throw Gaga a bone for Y&I in Pop Vocal after self-snubbing her from SOTY/ROTY nominations, but obviously that didn't happen.

I was like @ the ppl who happy about the Tony Bennet album winning. Like no that don't count. It was even worse when she showed up.

I think Album of the Year nominees are required to show up.

They should of just went for the full blow of BTW, TEOG, and Y&I instead. But obviously they the tactic they tried got her a nom so that's good.I hope it's better next time.
