Glad to hear Sweat will probably just end up a bonus track like Go Girl, I was so disheartened when I heard it, it felt like this era would be a re-hash and downgrade of all Ci's done before.
Don't let the POP-heads of ATRL deceive you. This is a CORE R&B song. It's success shouldn't be based on how well Ke$ha & Rih do. When Tuesday hits, check for it's position on the r&b charts. That's what it was meant for. Honestly this probably won't crack the top 20 on iTunes main...not w/out some promo excluding the handful of radio interviews. It WILL however be at least top 5 on the r&b side.
How is a week and a half "wayyyy too long" for a R&B song?
It's too long for a R&B song especially for someone who is literally on their last leg. If they knew the song wouldn't be on iTunes until the 25th, they shouldn't have revealed the video until yesterday, with a radio deal the following Monday.
Hopefully everything is in place and organized for her. I don't want her to fail, but this kind of stuff is dumb.
