Frankly the music business doesn't give a **** about their artists. No matter how much they "like" Rihanna - she would have been dropped like a hot potato if she didn't sell....just how no matter how much they "like" Rihanna - she's gonna be pumping out those albums regardless of her health or stamina.

That can be said for ANY artist and if this was true Rihanna would've been gone before GGGB. However the Queen is still relevant and bigger than ever.

But wouldn't that have more to do with the specifics of her contract? If Rihanna legally agreed to do X amount of this and Y amount of that, then there would be no way she could be like, I'm taking 2 years off to do whatever I want.

As such a big name, her schedule is FULL, and it's likely even if she told them she didn't want to do X anymore, they would try to convince her to at least go a little longer.

Well of course, we don't want her hospitalized.

I just hope to believe, and assume, she has enough power over her own career to know when releasing too much too quickly would endanger her life.

Rihanna's health is FINE. She has a whole team behind her with lawyers, doctors etc. She's just a young hardworker and love what she's doing. This is her 9 to 5 and she takes breaks every other month. Y'all are so dramatic.

She should take some time off...Just so she can be inspired and re-invent herself by not just changing her fashion style but overall in sound and quality it would benefit her. When you constantly push out albums there is little time in between to sat down and put your input into it so you have to get these big teams of writing camps and producers to do the work and at the end of it all you have is vocal credits. At the very end an "Artist" CAN'T call their self an artist if you don't have at least 98% of input tbh no shade. That video of her crying is really sad to see. If she continues to do this she will peak too early tbh

Rihanna doesn't need to reinvent herself though. She comes out so often, and hits the top so often, that the next big thing in music probably always lands in her lap before she has to bother looking for it. And she's only 23 or 24. Let her reinvent herself when she's 30, and on her 17th studio album.

Who the **** honestly does that tho? Gaga still makes Electronic Music, Britney still makes Pop/Dance Music, Beyonce still does R&B/Pop hybrids. And ALL her songs since Rated R have been tailor-maded with her in mind. You're making ZERO sense niece.
