I have a feeling that they'll go ahead with the iTunes release, though. If they're aware that airplay rolls, they'll want to avoid losing audience impressions Wednesday-whenever. That's if they do a deal.

Waiting till then will kill sales, doing that would be pure idiocy.

She said she's excited to surprise people sonically...which I think is good.

Trying to think outside of the box and bring something people might not expect of her is encouraging to me. Shows she's being thoughtful about it.

I don't know why y'all mad, pressed and seething. Rih's lead singles ALWAYS deliver.

Hope it's not a pop record like WHYB and WFL. She needs to do less of that, imo. Pop isn't where her roots are, tho mainstream audiences in America are addicted to it. Reggae is.

I also like reggae songs she does better--Man Down, Rude Boy. They fit the timbre and the way she says certain words.

I don't mind the first single or two being a dance-pop record, but I hope it's something creative. Maybe something like No Doubt has been doing, or kind of like "Dancehall Queen" by Robyn. However, I hope we don't get a full dance record. Unless, of course, it's something a little more experimental in terms of the pop field.
