The members who frequent that thread and the ones who participated in that page were familiar enough with Ke$ha to know that we were joking. For example, VampireGrin's post, which earned him a completely unnecessary trip to ban land:

"I don't think you understand, I've been dancing with my hand" is a lyric from "Only Wanna Dance With You," a song that will be on the album. The demo version leaked a year ago, and that line is lifted from it. Clearly a joke that anyone who posted on that page would get -- it's one of K$'s most loved demos.

My post is a reference to the also well known Supernatural snippet, the only official snippet we have from the album. Again, anyone who posted on that page would know the "When you take my body to the stars, I believe it" line from that -- we've dissected and discussed that snippet daily in the K$ base for months.

I understand completely why the posts about download links were warned, even if they were also just jokes.

Anyone on that page would have known we were joking -- it's like the Army making a joke about Radar being featured on Brit's next album by revealing the exclusive lyrics "You're on my radar." It's being silly, not trolling.

I'm fine with my points, but banning VampireGrin for something that was clearly a joke four days before the single that we've all eagerly anticipated for 2 years now is cruel beyond need.

2) You may think it was just a joke but threads aren't clubs meant for a few members. I went into the thread seeing posts unrelated to the subject and to a random member who might pop in, it was pointless and trolling
3) My comments before were not telling anyone to leave the site because they are unwelcomed. The point I was making is that no one makes you post on the site. If you violate the ToU, we have the right to hand out WPs to that member. If you don't agree with our ToU you can leave the site or stay at your own accord and follow the ToU.

This is how our stanbase dynamic is, we joke like this all the time. We've come to think that was okay -- we haven't been warned for similar things before. Now that we know that isn't allowed at all, we won't.

I'm fine with getting a few points, but it did kill () one of us -- VampireGrin is banned. Can't he just receive a reminder since this is something we've come to do all the time? I highly doubt he thought anyone would consider his post to be trolling, and I'm sure he'd avoid repeating the mistake since the era is finally upon us.
