Sad that this was blown so far out of proportion. It's not like she lied, Grindr's gross and dangerous. In a way she did the gay community a service, reminding young gay males of the dangers of unprotected sex and services like Grindr. These days they tend to brush HIV aside like it's nothing, but it's still horrible and annoying to live with.
I still can't believe there are people defending her. She has made racist and now homophobic remarks before. There are things you just can't say. If she was talking to a gay friend why would she refer to gays as "them"
whats said is said and more people will pay attention to her homophobic comments than her half assed apology (which only came after trying to defend herself)
