Considering having DVD rip videos in AVI format would be a little bit hard to make an avatar. However, I'd figure having this converter program will help convert any type of videos into MPEG files which can be play on Quicktime.

wait, does this fix the video, because every DVD-rip I've downloaded has not worked on my computer. What happens is when I import it into Windows Movie Maker, 90% of every frame is green... and it won't even work correctly in Winamp nor in Windows media player. It may not be green, but the frames just all blend together. The sound works fine, but the images don't...

Animation shop plays various types of video files, but MPEG is the best one to work with.

The reason the DVD rips doesn't work on your computer because you do not have the codec to play it. You can go to google and search for Final Codecs program that will allow you to play those DVD rip videos correctly. Also, the program called Avisynth fixed the green line while playing videos. Download those programs, and i'm sure you will be fine.

yeah, i figured it out. I just converted it using the converter I have and it fixed itself. I dunno why I never tried that before. The only annoying thing now is that it will say DivX at the bottom of some of the frames, but oh well... Thanks for the help, though : )

1) Find your video on youtube.com
2) Copy the URL
3) Enter www.youtubex.com
4) Paste the URL in the download box
5) Right-click the download button and choose "Guardar destino como.. " or "Save [sth] as..."
6) Save it and change the extension to .flv
7) Download SUPER (C) http://www.erightsoft.com/S6Kg1.html
Go to the end of the page and click on any "Super Setup File" link. It is the BEST converter ever, it is free, doesn't need a crack, doesn't have time limit, doesn't have any virus and it can convert any format to whatever format exists.
