Lady Starlight has recently sat down for an interview with Heat Magazine about Gaga. Here it is:
Quote:
Heatworld: Does Gaga ever worry about her weight?
Starlight: Her weight fluctuates – she’s like every other woman in the world. She has her body hang ups. But the cool thing about her is, it doesn’t matter what is going on with her body, she’ll still go on stage in her bra and pants and work it out.
“That’s how she challenges the perception of sexiness and how men look at a girl in a thong. We make it look weird so they’re staring at a semi naked woman thinking ‘this is different’.
I think women of all shapes and sizes are beautiful. So does Gaga. I think it’s important you have a day each wee where you can eat whatever you want, that’s important. Gaga famously once said ‘popstars never eat’ – does she really believe that?
No, I wish sarcasm was easier to detect in interviews because, yeah, that was sarcasm. She would never advocate things like that. Did you ever have any crazy diets you would go on to stay thin? She talks about the ‘alcohol diet’…
Back in the day when we had no money we ate a lot of tofu salad. But you know, don’t deny yourself. That’s important. What does Gaga hope for in the future?
She always says she can’t wait to get fat and have babies and be 80. We will be the craziest old people ever, we talk about that a lot. She’s not one of those destructive popstars who doesn’t think about the future. Will she be a good mum?
She’ll be the best mum ever. She is very family orientated because of how strong her parents’ marriage is. She wants what they have. What’s she like in love?
She is the best person to be in a relationship with. She’s so open and emotional. She can just walk up to any guy, any place and introduce herself, I don’t have that – I wish I was more like her in that way. She seems really loved up with Taylor Kinney...
They are normal. They go sight seeing. She’s happy. She would never stop herself from having a normal life. But I do think, because of her lifestyle, she has to date someone in the industry so they understand the demands her career places on her life.
