I mean, I didn't expect her to sell well. If this was right after Loose, yes, but she had a Spanish album. She obviously removed herself from the spotlight intentionally. No one expected her to smash With Christina, it was the total opposite, so no one better be trying to make TSI the next Bionic.
Except the height of Nelly's worldwide success during Loose outpeaked any point in Xtina's career...
A lot of people aren't aware that she is even making music again. Unless you follow the music industry closely, there is not much of a chance you would know she has an album out. It's only expected. She hasn't been relevant for a few years now.
To be honest Nelly Furtado is the type of artist who doesn't need singles to sell her albums. She's the type who sells album JUST BASED on her name!
So why is her album mega-flopping?
NO ONE KNOWS SHE RELEASED AN ALBUM. NO BANNER. NO NOTHING. NO ONLINE ADS. WTF?!
How does her label expect her to sell albums if no one knows its getting released?
BIG, UNNECESSARY FAIL. The album could have at least pulled in 50-75k.
