Honestly, if you report an ignorant post (like saying someone's on food stamps or ghetto etc. just bc she's black), I'll warn it without thinking twice. I always do. Other mods might not agree with me; think about how race is seen outside of the US and it makes more sense that some might not see how those posts could be racist. That applies to members as well as mods... if they're not from the US they might not realize the offensive undertones of what they're saying. And I'm not saying we should excuse them for that, but there should be a mutual understanding there.
In SYG that's a different issue and it's really hard to tackle because we don't want to make SYG too regulated... it'd be pointless then.
). The mods should warn all racist posts, not only ''shockingly offensive'' posts. And besides, what may be shockingly offensive to one mod may not be to another.
