If One More Night gets the throne and not Payphone
Watch as Payphone out rank One More Night in the year-end chart.

Of course, Payphone with these contenders, could be #1 for like 5 weeks.. But it had to fight with the biggest smashes of the year, the phenoms: "Somebody That I Used To Know" and "Call Me Maybe" Although, Payphone is for sure between the biggest songs of the year, incredible sucess

About what percentage AI, Sales and Streaming contribute to the Hot 100?
Blow Me is ahead of Whistle in sales (by 7k) and airplay (by 11m+ according to mediabase), she is most likely around #20 on streaming, can it make that much difference?
Same goes for As Long As You Love Me...
I'd guess BM would be #4. It can even be #3 if it went up a lot on ODS

I know Ger, those were the giants of this year. Well I'm glad for Maroon 5 getting a No. 1 hit for this album (we will find out in a few hours for the official news) because they got served twice the tea for their No. 2 song Payphone and No. 2 album.

Payphone was huge, it just got c0ck blocked from #1. It was in the top 3 for longer than any other song this year I believe. I guess it's airplay/sales/streaming just didn't aline like One More Nights has.

I loved the immense success Payphone had and liked it as first single for this super pop era, but if one of the two songs deserved the number one, that is One More Night.
It is a way superior song.
Now let's hope it happens... may it be this week or next one

Payphone had to compete with Gotye and Carly Rae, and none were snatching those wigs for the 17 weeks that those songs dominated. Now, digital sales are lower, but One More Night deserves the top spot even more than Payphone IMHO.

Still 5-th week topping digital sales for Taylor. Not too shabby.
Where is she standing against BTW (the single)? I remember Billboard reported they were pretty close as of last week (after 4 weeks of sales).

As long as Taylor keeps selling the most I don't really care who takes the #1. Airplay is a joke nowadays.
I hope "Wanted" gets closer to the top 20 and "The A Team" gets closer to the top 50.

Weeks on top of the digital chart for solo females: IX Hollaback Girl
VIII Call Me Maybe
VI Tik Tok, Rolling in the Deep, Party in the USA, I Kissed a Girl
V We Are Never, Pon de Replay
Longevity! Especially interesting is that for all the other girls it was their first digital #1. I guess everyone peaks with their first huge breakout except for Goddess Swift. And some people choose to tack on rappers and stuff to get multi-week #1s too, I guess.

at Pon de Replay topping the chart for that long when Rude Boy never made it to the top yet still slayed on the Hot 100. Taylor will probably fall to #3 next week though. One More Night and Gangnam Style have been increasing.

AirPlay isn't a joke, it helped WFL log 10 weeks at #1 and helped Lights stay in the top 10 much longer than its sales could, and there's many many more examples
