Let me say something. I didn't even know that album like "4" exists. Does it make album succesfull? For a person who loves watching music stations on TV... Believe me, I haven't even heard any of songs Bey recorded there. It's like My December for us. Fans are 80% of people who enjoy the album.
And don't get me wrong, I love My December and would never shade it. I just think half of songs need a better production.

To think I'm going to have a battle with you while I'm supporting Beyonce is a joke in itself but Kelly is much more draggable than Beyonce musically. To say there is better production of Stronger over 4? That's a cute lie. The singles of 4 under performed but shall we get into Kelly's underperforming single? Shall we get into her less than platinum selling album? Bey managed platinum in 6 months, and now past 2X platinum. Not a single one of Bey's album has gone less than 2X platinum. It's almost been a year. Kelly's climbing very slowly and just might hit platinum by the end of the year. $12.99 x 2 million > $1.29 x 3 million.
And no one described 4 as indie here. I just said it was even included on those lists.

Well obviously. Beyonce is local to the US market, but we can't take away how much greater the production value is compared to Stronger. The biggest name on Stronger was Greg Kurstin and Toby Gad. One of who blew up thanks to Kelly and one of who wasn't that big. 4 had the likes of The Dream, Diplo, Babyface, etc...4 was in no a lessor to Stronger production wise. That is just delusion if you think so. I think DejaVu and JClark will agree with me as objective stans.
Where is Stronger on any of the year end list? 4 is on almost every single one with plenty of acclaim. 4 happens to be included on the indie lists too. It's very well crafted and Kelly can only dream of releasing something of that caliber. 15% great, 85% crap.]

She could easily beat them, like in 2005/06. But then again.. she wasn't happy working all the time so I think her career is OK now. It's stable and she has time for herself and we certainly won't get Irvine 2.0

Of course Kelly is talented. As is Beyonce. She handpicked everything in her last era.
If you care to watch. I watched it cuz Amaru (Beyonce stan that the Kelly stans hate but happens to be my bff in real life) made me but not gonna lie. I was feeling a tad weepy by the end.
I don't like albums more if they have obvious smashes. I'm into a lot of indie stuff and My December is my favorite album. I get that 4 was more critically acclaimed, but so are the Beatles and I don't use their stuff either. I also know that Bey is a great singer, I've watched her dvd, I just found 4 a little boring.
Once there was a screen shot from ASCAP posted on the express, showing that Kelly had 60% credits on AG while Tedder had 40% while Bey had 7% on Halo and Tedder had 70% . That should answer the credit question.
