No, and it isn't anything I haven't heard before. I think people who limited themselves to top 40 music got a real 'culture shock' with RITD.

I think RITD will be a classic in the future You can't ever say a song is the best song ever since everything is subjective but I think RITD will have longevity

RITD is musically only comparable to "Gimme Shelter" from the Rolling Stones.

Lyrically comparable with "You oughta know" from Alanis.

So, I would say, yes especially in the US, but time will tell.

And someting more, RITD had the chance to become the most downloaded single (It's only 500.000 behind "I gota feelling" and keeping up fast) in US, but it will most likely defeated by Skyfall.

Probably it's also the most cover song on Youtube.
