And in case anyone was curious, Hicklin said in the article that he feels that the NPH/David Burtka Story (which is just so lovely - read it if you have a chance) is the magazine's most important moment.
Because whether you want to admit it or not, she truly has had a very important impact on the fight for equality. Sure, sometimes she drops the ball (asking her millions of followers to sign a petition "supporting DADT" comes to mind), but overall, she has done everything she can to keep the fight for equality in the headlines.

Well, with respect, I think the editor-in-chief of the country's most popular gay periodical might have a better grip on gay politics than a straight guy on a pop forum.
