...how is this shocking or funny? This is normal. You still need to sign a 2 year contract. Sprint will make back all of the money from the contract and lots more. Manufacturers do this all the time to get rid of stock of old products.

No you have to get a 2-year contract or at least upgrade your contract to get it at that price. Or else the phone is the unactivated price which is $549 I believe
