Adele's new album will feature "lighter" songwriting

Adele's third studio album will reportedly be much "lighter" than her global chart-topping smash '21' because she has been inspired by her recent pregnancy.
The 'Someone Like You' singer is expecting her first child with boyfriend Simon Konecki, confirming her pregnancy back in June this year, and her impending motherhood is said to have had a "big impact" on her songwriting.
"It will be lighter than her last ode to break up," a source told Us magazine this month. "The pregnancy has had a big impact on her songwriting.
"She is lying low and focusing on becoming a mum," they explained. "The baby is healthy and she's so excited."
The 'Rolling In The Deep' singer previously confirmed she will not rush the follow-up to '21', and suggested she doesn't expect a new album to be ready for several years yet.
