The only reason I even know what the acronym HTILY stood for is because I stanned so hard during the GGGB days. She really should've followed Umbrella with Don't Stop the Music, instead of the filler like SUAD and HTILY.
Up until recently I didn't even know Rihanna was the main artist on this song... I thought it was Ne-Yo ft. Rihanna for the longest time. Even Shut Up & Drive is more memorable for me, but then again it smashed harder in Canada.
When I was young, this was the only single I didn't know from GGGB. I wasn't a music addict back then and even though this peaked higher than 2 other singles, I didn't know it.
Absolutely this...Then when I heard it for the first time I got disappointed.

yeah, to bad it was released back to back with umbrella practically. now a days WMN and OG worked so well

...then again does a Rihanna stan really want something like this to happen when today with Nicki releasing an upbeat song to radio following an upbeat single has resulted in only a minority of the lead singles success. I think HTILY was a prefect single between the two even if its not remembered now a days, then it was somewhat... magical
The song is generinc R'n'B fluff, it only did well because Ne-Yo was IN at the time.
More like the title is long enough, I seriously had no idea what the thread was about when I saw HTIL
Absolutely not. I'm not even kidding, 99% of the time I completely forget about it and I only remember it when I'm on Rihanna or the GGGB wikipedia page and see it and I'm like "Oh yeah. That...exists"
