I did wonder about the christian bit. I bet it's more like Madonna esque lyrically. Tying religion into it, but being subtle. Or simple modulations, LOT style. It's very common in gospel.
I'm excited! I hope she doesn't go generic, though. The funk/organic/urban uptempo mix of CIL, Deja Vu, Green Light, Why Don't You Love Me, End of Time is definitely her thing and nobody else does it like her.

plus, urban radios have really embraced her singles this year (party, love on top, now even dance for you, which has basically been chosen as a new single by radios themselves). i think she should go on with this sound instead of switching it up again like she did with 4... i think people were expecting another pop record after iasf, and her suddently returning to her r&b roots might have confused and disappointed a lot of people. y'all need to realize that she's not a pop gurl and she'll never be
