Lady Gaga is a powerhouse in the world of music... and Fame. There is a new perfume, the famous and infamous outfits, the 110 date worldwide concert tour, and the platinum selling albums that launched Gaga mania just four short years ago.

Social media helped propel this Poker Face singing star into mega stardom, with 53 million Facebook fans and nearly 29 million Twitter followers. Her flamboyant theatrics earned her an avid fan base.

But, Lady Gaga's sales power has dimmed a bit - her 2008 debut album "Fame" sold 4.5 million copies, while sales of last year's "Born This Way" sold 2.2 million, half of that in the first week. Those sales helped boost the music industry overall, while sales were down 13 percent in 2010 they rose one and a half percent last year, according to Billboard. At 26 she's on Forbes list of the' 100 Most Powerful Women - for her singing and philanthropy- ahead of Queen Elizabeth and Beyonce.
