Animal rights protesters plan to stage a huge protest rally outside Lady Gaga's concert in Dublin, Ireland on Saturday (Sept.15), over her recent decision to wear fur.
The pop superstar is as well known for her fashion statements as she is for her music. But now it seems her fashion sense is getting her into some hot water. Express reports Lady Gaga has been slammed by the Animal Rights Action Network (ARAN) for wearing fur after saying in interviews that she's against it. An ARAN spokesman called the star a "turncoat" and says protesters will be out in force at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin as fans arrive for her Born This Way Ball on Saturday. The spokesman says, "Every animal killed for a fur coat or fur-trimmed item suffers tremendously... Lady Gaga should be ashamed to be wearing the skin of the dead, tormented animals she paid someone to kill for a dumb look."
ARAN's Facebook page says, "News of our protest at Lady Gaga this Saturday is going all over the world already - job done even before we start."
