The problem wasn't that she didn't want to promote a lot, there was just the circumstance that Rebecca had a broken leg at that time and wasn't able to do everything as fast and all. Normal people take a rest, but she had to keep on promoting 24/7.

to be fair modestmanagement are infamous for being dodgy and quite a few XF alumni have had messy endings with them.. but on the other hand rebecca always came across, to me, as super fragile and the type of person who wouldn't be able to keep up with the stresses and the workload that comes with fame

Um in the last two years she did two seasons of American Idol, filmed two movies and did voice overs for another one, went on a world tour and still found time to expand her business ventures (clothing line, perfume line, production company, etc).
