I don't think Carole King is much of a possibility. Tapestry was her 21 it was just the biggest album out there and she never had close to that same level of popularity again.

Naw remember when they did the article about Taylor's debut passing up Shania's Come on Over album to be the longest charting female country album on the billboard 200? That was back when she spent 170 something weeks on. Shania was unluckily around during the time when the "random having to stay inside the top 100 of the billboard 200 or you go recurrent rule" existed so she fell out a good bit sooner than Taylor.

I'm getting a negative vibe from that song. And I don't like it at all. But yeah, we have a different view on WANEGBT.

TBH if she released a Love Story 3.0 as a lead single or a Mine 2.0 (Mine was a Love Story 2.0), she would just fade away like some random country singer...what kind of song did you want from her AS A LEAD SINGLE ???!!!!! Now she gets a massive exposure, and many records with just one song, how can it hurt her career ?! just wait & see before drawing wrong conclusions...and even in her fan base, some acts like WANEGBT has still somthg to prove the fact is that it performed well compared to LS, YBWM or any Taylor's song so far, it can die tomorrow I don t care, it already gives her so many good points even if I m not saying that I d prefer it to Haunted or Teardrops on my guitar...
