What will the rationale behind The War in the Middle East Version 4.0 (TM) this time around kids?

Will it be...

"Temporary" "precautionary measure" to ensure "transition to democracy"?
In the name of protecting a few American lives at the expense of millions of Libyans'?
Financed by Mobil, Texaco, et al?
Given the Nobel Peace Prize seal of acceptance?

So Christianity in its whole history has not added culture and technological advancement?

It has poisoned culture, set us back hundreds of years and distorted the way people think about the world and other humans in horrible ways. It must be destroyed as we know it.

Extremists exist everywhere, not just in religion, so let's not act as if eradicating religion will suddenly make the world a peaceful place. Countries will always go to war with each other to gain/maintain influence, to test out new weapons, or just due to nationalism. There will always be people who will cause trouble because they believe they are higher than thou. You can erase religion all you want but there will always be another below it waiting to take its place.

Anyway, I hope that this doesn't escalate to something worse.

But why is it that muslims are ALWAYS the ones doing all these really VIOLENT riots the most ?

I've been watching this closely, as I'm suppose to be going to Egypt in a few months time.

They're in general more serious about their religion than others. They take strong personal offense to disrespect directed at their religion. It's a whole different mindset—I understand why people find it hard to understand.

I'm Canadian, but our government has issued several travel warnings for the area.

I'm still confident all the violence will have been stopped before March though, and I can go and enjoy the beauty that is Egypt.

I'm hearing from someone in Cairo that they managed to put an end to the rioting/violence.

Oh, so the promotion of higher education makes all the wars, murders, massacres and genocides in the name of religion alright?

The same article from CNN also explains that alot of people in middle east are just as disgusted with the violence.

They are running notices on TV saying "oridnary Americans and the US government should not be blamed for the film."
