No. I don't count Sober as a single. I have such an issue regarding this song. I feel it was sabotaged and I refuse to believe anything other than that.
Simply giving a song an adds date does not a single make. A single needs promotion of SOME sort to garner attention and it needs a video.
I've said this probably 349392938 times before, but when Sober was released, I heard it on Boston's Top 40 station. Which, at the time, was the #10 ranked station in the country. I heard it twice. Once late, late at night, and the next day it was on their most requested countdown at #4. After that, they never played the song again. How can you tell me that a song that was obviously being requested would never get a single spin on the station again? I think RCA didn't want to bother to promote it so they didn't push it at all, and either had the song removed from airwaves or something.
DWYT wasn't released at all over here in the U.S. so I don't count it as a U.S. single, regardless of the video. If it got an adds date, I would because it got a video.
